Born and raised in the Fillmore district of San Francisco, 28 year old rapper Dijoun Elarms or DB, began his music career in 2005. After going through some life changes and realizing he wanted to make a change, he found a home amongst his friends Lyrical Tone and Rosario as they welcomed him into their music group Legends Live Forever. They later added Troy to the group which infused 3 rappers and a singer. With influences like Tupac, but more closely, artists like his cousin Bay Area Legend, Spice One, or Fillmore's own native San Quinn, and other artists from the Bay Area like Ya Boy, Bailey and Big Rich whom he has developed good relationships with, it was only a matter of time before Dijoun realized that music was his true passion and calling. As a group, the men made several mixtapes and worked very hard to build relationships with promoters, djs, and people in general trying to make as many people hear the music and get familiar with the Legends Live Forever movement. From performing at parties, shoes and events all over the Bay Area including places like The DNA Lounge and Brick & Mortar Music Hall, to having a number of well-directed music visuals along with radio play, these boys have come a long way. However, last year they all decided to work on solo projects while still promoting their movement. Now, as a full-time father, employee, and musician, rapper DB has managed to wear all the hats and on his birthday 4/20 was able to release his first solo project titled, Turn Up God. Upon releasing his cd, DB was able to go on the 'Breaking Ground Tour' and give the fans some of his own personal style and now that he's back, he has no plans on stopping that.  Working with producers like Merk Villain, Jay Ant, Money Always, DEO, Isaiah Eugene, Aka1Frank and Artists like Champlu, Lyrical Tone and Troy of Legends Live Forever, His debut, Turn Up God, manages to have something for everyone. As he touches on his life and the situations he's had to work through and overcome growing up in a society that wasn't exactly set up for him to win in, while also adding some songs for the ladies, Dijoun is just breaking into his realm as a solo artists and plans on working with several artists/ producers and musicians in the Bay Area to keep the Bay Area music scene alive and thriving as it should be. Although they may be working on solo music currently, DB has full support from not only the other members in Legends Live Forever, but also several members of the Bay Area community who have over the years been able to see and and watch the growth and development these men have had & will continue to have.
